Machu Picchu,"Old Mountain", Cuzco, Peru, is a pre-Columbian Inca site located 2,430 meters (7,970 ft) above sea level. Often referred to as "The Lost City of the Incas", it is perhaps the most familiar icon of the Inca World.

"Yeha-Noha (Wishes of Happiness and Prosperity)" is a successful song recorded in 1994 by the German musical project known under the name of Sacred Spirit.

Yale historian Hiram Bingham rediscovered Machu Picchu in 1911, and backed by the National Geographic Society, he returned with large expeditions in 1912 and 1915. Each time, he carted out crates filled with archaeological finds. Yale University is embroiled in an escalating dispute with Peru over the return of treasures from the world-famous Incan site of Machu Picchu that are on display as part of the ivy-league university's permanent collection.

Machu Picchu and Yale: Peru drops six charges in suit.

The Republic of Peru has withdrawn six of the 17 charges filed against Yale in its 2008 lawsuit demanding the return of ancient Inca artifacts removed from Machu Picchu by Yale professor Hiram Bingham III between 1911 and 1915 and now housed at Yale’s Peabody Museum.
